That’s one thing I don’t buy at Costco. I find their fruit and veg are usually far more expensive than at most of the local mini-chains or farmer’s markets.
The stuff is good quality, but I’d rather buy local anyway.
I don’t buy produce at Costco for exactly the same reason.
I will buy mushrooms though. I cut them up and freeze them.
I like their ground beef and we buy bacon, butter, milk and coffee and things like that mostly basics.
Their produce is higher than a cat’s back!
