I remember when we here in FR advocated a tough love stand on juvenile behavior including the punishment of parents.
I am all for addressing issues with criminal behavoir of juveniles with "tough love" up to and including behavior and involvement of the parent(s) depending on the circumstances.
If a parent has a 10 year old kid involved in burglary, car theft, drugs or violence, and it is happening because the kid has no boundaries and is out at 1 AM on a weekday doing this...fine. But if it is a case of a kid leaving the house, skipping school, or doing other things while supposedly at school...I don't necessarily pin that on the parent fully.
I mean, after all, we saw what happened when a parent tried to handcuff a kid to a bedpost or radiator because they couldn't keep them in. That is tough love for sure.
I find it hard to get behind any actions a statist scumbag like her initiates.

LOL. Conservatives are all about enforcing reasonable laws. And truancy laws are reasonable. But I guess an exception is made when the enforcer is someone we don’t like.
I don’t think there’s an argument about tough love, I think it’s the smirking that is annoying.
Democrats are eating their own trying to primary one another.
They even did this to the Clintons in 2008 saying how both of them were racists.
Tough love on our kids can’t happen with today’s laws. First time a parent escorts their kid into school and demands to follow him around all day, the school will have the goon squad escort the parent out.
I think most conservatives do support truancy laws, but we know theyre largely ignored these days, so why lose sleep.
I think this threads issue is Kamalas duplicity.
She is Hillary II, even has the cackle.
I don't think that extended to jail and homeless parents.
Once upon a time there was good reason to send your child to public school.Way back then real education was offered in those institutions. Now one subjects one’s child to propaganda and indoctrination in a day prison by sending him to public school. The state has good reason to require attendance. It needs to make Democrat voters.
