Christie has pizazz though and he seems likeable. Pence seems like a robot. I don’t buy the premise of Trump resigning, but if he wins re-election, which is far from certain, then I think there will be a ton of Republicans running alongside Pence and I do expect one will be Christie. His kids (whose baby sitter I know) will be much older by then. It’ll be a much more easy transition.

I follow politics as obsessively as anyone on this forum, yet I literally have no idea what he is talking about. As to potential challengers like Romney, Christie, and Kasick, I’m convinced that they only read WaPo and NYT, and have no idea how much of the base just despises them
