The Church isn’t about the priest, it’s about Jesus. That’s why we don’t leave. We aren’t there to worship a man preaching at the pulpit, but the God-man that sacrificed himself for us and rose again that we may live. No matter how many of these wolves in sheep’s clothing infiltrate the ranks, we have Jesus’ promise that “the gates of Hell shall not prevail”.
The church may not be about the priest, but the priest is sure interested in the church’s kids.
