problem being the exist law doesn’t let them question documents validity.

Not sure what that means.

E-Verify can tell instantly if the Social Security Number has not been assigned, or if it belongs to someone who is dead, or to someone who is too young or too old to work, or someone who is currently drawing benefits, or to someone who is currently working in a different city.

I-9 Forms - including Social Security number - must be signed, under penalty of perjury, by every new employee in the USA.

I-9s are subject to audit by the Department of Homeland Security.

Unfortunately, Trump has done fewer I-9 audits than Barack Obama did.
