The protests have stopped because of Trump.

Kaepernick is persona non grata; he ain't getting signed.

Now, you can still complain about individual players who get arrested, but the NFL is still big business.

As for the halftime show, I don't think anything is going to happen. When Lady Gaga both did the National Anthem and Halftime show people thought she was going to go all SJW, but she didn't. And her National Anthem performance, IMO, was even better than Whitney Houston's.

I won’t be watching but, Adam Levine is not only part of Maroon 5 and a solo artist, he is also on The Voice. He shouldn’t even think of creating or participating in any controversy. He screwed up this season, as it was. lol Yeah, I stopped watching that too and won’t go back. But, the show is a ratings draw for NBC so, I would think he would be cautious.

The protests did not stop, they were greatly reduced but the networks stopped glorifying them because they were losing too much money. Don’t forget, the NFL promised almost 100 million dollars to anti-American organizations in an attempt to stop them. Below is a list of players still kneeling at the end of this season.

Not only that, by now, with this many years out of the NFL, he almost certainly doesn't have the youth or skills to make it even if he WERE given the opportunity. He was a complete fool, and made so by his Marxist girl friend. Hope she was worth it, but I'm sure she wasn't.

No. The protests had stopped before Trump. They petered down to a couple of guys before Trump brought them a bunch of free attention. Kaep was already out. The whole thing had blown over, then he called them SOBs, got it all revved up again. Things go away when ignored, which is how it went away again. That’s the news cycle.
