In its Monday story, the Washington Post acknowledged investigating the claims and deciding not to publish. But it said the Fairfax statement “incorrectly” claimed the paper found “significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations.”

“Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present,” the paper said. “The Washington Post could not find anyone who could corroborate either version.”

The Washington Post didn’t name the accuser. But the paper said Fairfax and the woman met first met in Boston at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Growing calls for Virginia Gov. Northam to resign over racist yearbook photoVideo “The woman described a sexual encounter that began with consensual kissing and ended with a forced act that left her crying and shaken,” The Washington Post reported. “She said Fairfax guided her to the bed, where they continued kissing, and then at one point she realized she could not move her neck. She said Fairfax used his strength to force her to perform oral sex.”

“The Post carefully investigated the claim for several months...”

They investigated it for months? Now that's something President Trump, or any Trump supporter will never get the benefit of.

So Northam, an accused and seemingly verified racist, may refuse to quit on the basis that if he does, Fairfax, an accused rapist will take his job as Governor of Virginia. For a Democratic party that is always throwing around baseless accusations of racism and men as rapists, it looks like the chickens have come home to roost.

They spiked it because
A, he is democrat
B. He is black

Those two things require killing a story.

Just curious why the woman didn’t save some DNA via the Blue Dress method ? Didn’t the Lewinsky Affair teach her anything? /s

All this stuff, coming out about Northam and Fairfax, all of it couldn’t happen to a couple of more deserving baby killing jamokes.

Northam is just a baby killer outright by his own admission. Fairfax just because he’s a Democrat so is by default a baby killer unless he states otherwise.

So yeah well deserved. Finally some justice but it’s sad they aren’t going down in flames for advocating infanticide, but because of stupid crap like this.

Oh well whatever gets the job done I guess. I’d love to find out this is all coming out because of some good research put forth by some on the right. Something that should have been done a couple years ago by the GOP but for whatever reason wasn’t.

At least it’s getting done now. If the GOP won’t do the heavy lifting hardball then fine we’ll take matters into our own hands. Bout time someone did.

Why does Fox report WaPo stories? Can’t they find more credible sources?

didn’t the WaPo run with the anti-Kavanaugh allegations without investigating any of them? Haven’t they run with a lot of anti-Trump stories without investigating any of them? But, when it comes to allegations against a democrat, they investigate for months, and then decide not to publish the story? Sounds like a double standard to me.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is proposing a 2 percent annual tax on citizens with a net worth of over $50 billion.

This one should scare everyone, because it is a tax on wealth, not income. Also, they didn't mention it is a 3% tax on wealth above $1 billion and an additional 2% above $50 billion. That's a $30 million dollar tax on the first billion in wealth. Now, if you had to pay that every year, could you move outside the US for less than $30m? My guess is: Yes. Sen. Warren is stupid enough not to realize that it is this very wealth group that fund most of the investment projects that create jobs for everyone else. Lunacy!

Lewinsky didn’t plan... she just noticed the mess afterwards.

Probably the same sort of thing here. And, in 2004, Fairfax wasn’t famous. Probably not worth the effort to pursue a he said/she said without the stain. And, even with it, what’s proven?

In Lewinsky’s case, the issue was that the stain showed they had been physically close. Here the issue is what happened when they were close.
