In AOC's defense, she may have meant to say hominy,
which was her way of telling the President to kiss her grits.

People who use a lot of cliches tend to be ungrounded in details.
To double down and conflate two cliches at once leaves a message of its own.
People get lost in cliches, too. "Hope is on the way," the DNC Obama-era slogan,
is pretty thin gruel.  As Clarence Darrow said at the Dayton Scopes trial
when the judge said he hoped Darrow wasn't impugning the honor
