What is socialism to me? A barbed wire fence,a mine, or a camp that I see. With certain words, like Kolyma, Katyn, Treblinka and Chenmlo, with no Freedom or Democracy, that is what Socialism means to me. Well Joy, I think I understand it. Socialism wants to force “equality” on everyone. The result is a society where incentive is dead (why work if the fruits of your labor are just given away to someone else?) The ultimate end is an underproductive society where everyone is equally poor and equally hungry (except the ruling class). Since everyone is just like everyone else huge portions of the population are eradicated for the weakest of reasons. Every mass murder (genocide) of the Twentieth Century took place in a socialist country. Everytime the socialist experiment has been attempted it has failed miserably. But the next generation will try it all over again. The definition of insanity is to try the same thing all over again but expecting a different outcome.
