Michael Jackson Estate Slams ‘Leaving Neverland’ in Letter to HBO: ‘It Is a Disgrace’
Rolling Stone ^ | 2/08/19 | Aaron Lambert

Hours after HBO announced when Leaving Neverland would premiere, the estate of Michael Jackson fired off a 10-page letter to HBO’s CEO slamming the film and HBO’s decision to air it.

**SNIP**

The letter to HBO continued, “As for Safechuck, by his own admission, he did not ‘realize’ that he had been abused until after he saw Robson on the Today Show in May 2013 being interviewed by Matt Lauer about Robson’s newly-concocted story of abuse. All of a sudden, Safechuck realized that he had been abused. He then contacted Robson’s lawyers and filed copycat lawsuits against the Estate for millions of dollars. And like Robson, he too had testified under oath that Jackson never did anything inappropriate with him. His two cases against the Estate were also dismissed. Safechuck’s frivolous lawsuits were dismissed so early in the proceedings that significant discovery was never taken in his case, and he was able to avoid having his deposition taken and producing documents.”

In closing, the estate counsel’s wrote, “We would be happy to meet with HBO to discuss a solution. We have plenty of further information and witnesses that would expose these two for who they are. If HBO wants to maintain its industry position as a valid source of news and fact, it owes an obligation to the public—not to mention the deceased Michael Jackson with whom HBO had previously partnered with during his lifetime—to actually investigate these matters. Barring that, this ‘documentary’ will say a lot more about HBO than it ever could about Michael Jackson.”

Jackson’s family previously issued a statement calling the documentary “a public lynching.”

Sounds bad for everyone involved.

Well, thats just too bad. MJ was a raving pedophile who loved to “play with” and use up innocent little boys for his own perverted pleasure at Neverland.

If the Jackson family says it's defaming then that means it hits the mark. I'm sorry but that family has some garbage.

Understandably, no family would ever want their deceased relative spoken of in such context. However,
the preponderance of evidence showing guilt is difficult to ignore. I know nothing more that what I speculate, but I tend to think both things were true; Michael was a remarkable performer who produced a lot of entertaining music with his talents, and yes, Michael had a long history of inappropriate relationships with young boys.
Somehow, his ‘children’ will have to come to terms with this, or remain locked in media gossip battles for the rest of their lives.
I suspect parents who pimped their sons to Michael for his Pajama Parties have been well paid off, and signed an agreement to never speak publicly about what really happened year after year. But the surviving parents know what they allowed to happen to their child, and so too does that son, now an adult man. Eventually, I expect that subplot to become a movie all on it’s own. The topic being that of the ultimate betrayal.

The problem here is people who are now saying Jackson molested them told investigators years ago Jackson didn't molest them.

Which is it?

If they cashed a check to say Jackson didn't molest them they have no credibility at this point.

They were young at the time so the parents may be guilty of taking the money if money was offered but their current testimony is now suspect.

For what it is worth, which may not be much, Michael Jackson was put on trial for child molestation in 2005. He was acquitted on all counts.

For what it is worth, which may not be much,

Our legal system has been manipulated by lawyers for so long that it is a grotesque shadow of what was intended. So from my point of view the acquittal is not worth much, and Karma is a bitch. This is not to say that anything that comes from Hollywood is accurate. All of their projects are meant to make money and manipulate people not tell an accurate story.

Where in this world can you be a rich black man who made himself white (no one had a problem with him being white face) build an amusement park to lure young boys for his sexual gratification.
