The story behind the comedic and unsuccessful rollout of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal demonstrates a congressional office in utter chaos with no one — or everyone — in charge.
The document appeared on Ocasio-Cortez's webpage on February 7 and by nightfall had been unceremoniously deleted. This was after a day of mockery and outrage at some of the more unrealistic, even silly proposals the document detailed.
The "explanations" offered by her staff ran the gamut from the document being a "draft" to charges by one of her main advisers that Republicans had planted the document to make her look stupid.
Seriously? After a few weeks in the public eye, it should be obvious that Ocasio-Cortez doesn't need the GOP to look stupid.
The communications staff has so far not responded to an inquiry about the now-missing blog post.
But on Saturday morning, chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti tweeted that the FAQ page was indeed posted by the Ocasio-Cortez staff but was done so in error. He called the page "an early draft of a FAQ that was clearly unfinished and that doesn't represent the GND resolution got published to the website by mistake (idea was to wait for launch, monitor q's, and rewrite that FAQ before publishing)."
What is Mr. Chakrabarti doing still working for the congressman? That level of stupidity and incompetence would have cost any other chief of staff on the Hill his job. Chakrabarti is listed as one of the founders of the Justice Democrats organization, who played a key role in electing Ocasio-Cortez. His Hill administrative experience is apparently lacking.
Then there's an Ocasio-Cortez policy adviser, Robert Hockett, who told Tucker Carlson that the document was a GOP dirty trick:

It saddens me that the GOP is not clever enough to have planted that hilarious document on Cortez’s website. I would have more confidence for 2020 if they had.

I feel a little odd saying this, but when I see ACO and hear her speak, I get a really cold feeling in the pit of my stomach. As a Christian I’ve felt this before with others. Ms. ACO has risen to power very quickly, and I’m convinced there are dark forces helping her ascension. If the eyes really are the window to the soul, hers show me darkness. Ephesians 6:12 sums it up pretty well.

Does Ms. Ocasio-Cortez & her Democrat idiots realize that most military personnel are transported across the world and in the USA on commercial airline flights or on commercial airliners contracted by the DOD?
The USA military does not have nearly enough airlift aircraft to transport personnel in huge numbers. I would have to say Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and her Democrat Party cohorts are idiots, morons & buffoons wrapped in one sick demented bow.
10 years ago virtually nobody thought we would invite perverts in to women’s restrooms, adopted pervert marriage, let in millions of illegal aliens then gave them full social benefits, racked up an additional $9 trillion debt, made healthcare unaffordable, or that we would still be in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Marxism in this country need to be DESTROYED, not coddled or simply mocked.
People are reading this all wrong. The seeds have been planted. The children in schools today are the army to be trained to implement this idiocy. Unless the indoctrination is halted there will be serious attention given to this lunatic pogrom.

I understand her staff and chief thereof is mostly composed of people from some outfit called Justice Democrats, an even loonier and more radical left than the democrap establishment. I wonder who funded them? They are a bunch of bernie supporters as well.

you lie Robert. O’cranium Cor-dent is crazy enough to think all those things would have been good to push upon the USofA and bankrupt us further while enriching herself in the process.
Because its a few screws short of a hardware store? A few cards short of a deck? As sharp as a marble? The battery isn’t fully charged? Belt doesn’t go thru all the loops? No grain in the silo? It’s running on 1 cylinder?
