A couple weeks ago the Supreme Court made a shocking (but welcomed) announcement: the high court would be hearing the first gun case in a decade. The last time the Supreme Court heard a gun-related case was back in 2008 when they ruled "the Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home in the landmark Heller decision.
What's interesting is the San Francisco Chronicle, a rather liberal newspaper in California, published an editorial admitting that the state's gun control laws may be in danger. While the Supreme Court was reluctant to hear Second Amendment-related cases, the Court now has more conservative justices. Now that Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh are on the Court, gun rights activists are expecting landslide victories that can and will protect the right to keep and bear arms for years to come.

The law that SCOTUS agreed to hear is regarding NYC's draconian 'residence permit' that prohibits an owner from taking their firearm outside of the 5 boroughs for any reason. Clearly unconstitutional, but if the ruling is narrow enough it won't affect CA laws at all.
Roberts may force the ruling in this case to be as narrow as possible so as to not affect other state laws.
. ..I think certain people have evidence that Robert’s has committed impeachable offenses. When I say “evidence” I mean the irrefutable kind e.g. wire taps and/or video.
How this plays out is going to be interesting.

Rope a dope
Justice Roberts has been a huge disappointment and is the clearest example of what what was wrong with this country under previous Republican presidents. I didn’t see it at the time because I was so relieved to have a ‘Republican’ in office. What a joke. God bless Donald Trump.
Now - we need to see if RBG is competent to serve. This needs to be challenged now.
praying that the S.Ct. returns USA to our Constitutional system of governance.. beginning now with restoring our 2A rights... and going forward from there!!!
When will they finally wheel the RBG corpse out ?
(they can put it under glass like Lenin’s body for all I care... )
RBG? Where is she??????????? Room Temperature???
The Second Amendment means what it says, regardless of what tyrants in black robes think.
In my opinion, there are 3 categories of rights:
1) Rights which citizens possesses as enumerated in and protected by, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights
2) A subset of those rights are extended to non-citizens or may come with restrictions.
3) A loss of the majority of those rights while a ward of the state such as in the case of mental illness, incarceration or as result of conviction (i.e loss of the right to vote for election tampering, etc)
Anything else is a defacto infringement of a citizen’s rights. But it appears that my opinion is not how liberals or the current legal system views the world.
Stating it that way implies to the mind of a gun-controller that it's OK to restrict carry outside of the home. It should have read "such as self-defense". (period)
Twitter RUMOR:
DEVELOPING:
White House sources have reported POTUS will deliver a statement at 1pm EST concerning Justice Ginsburgs #RBG failing health & his next Supreme Court Nomination.
I dont trust Roberts. I dont want this SC anywhere near the 2nd. We barely won the last one and Roberts has been moving towards the Rats month by month.
Isn’t whatever the leftists control have on Roberts transferable?
Yeah, but who decides competence? I say no but guess that doesn’t count.
Our State’s Gun Control Laws Are In Jeopardy.
The 60+ gangs in LA county spit and chuckle.
Really? I hope so. :)
We'll find out in a couple hours, I reckon.
It’s time,,, She is very important and she is AWOL. A welfare check is well in order here.
