Well, California used to be a real center of heavy manufacturing. Aircraft and shipping. Then the environmentalists gained influence and the regulations started stacking up. Eventually every aircraft manufacturer got out of California and I think there may be just one shipbuilder left. Killing good paying union jobs as a sacrifice to the environmentalists is what democrats do. And there is a reason. Pandering to unions is a tactic they use to get money and votes. It's just a convenience that works for them. What democrats ARE is communists and that's what the greenies are too. So of course they put them higher in the queue.
But whatever, the unions will never support the republicans so of course the dems just pat them on the head and say "aw, how cute, he has an opinion! now go back to your tinker toys while the grown ups decide your fate. Oh, leave the check on the table first though, thanks."
