That’s it! This guy is a genius! I have now seen the error of my ways. I’m convinced that the government should control everything. Thank Gaia for this guy testifying in NY and for the wonderful NY Times for sharing the correct way for all of us to live.

He can give away as many of his million$ as he choses, on “affordable housing”, money directly to kids for “schools” or many other good causes. Does he?

But what he does do, while pretending to ask for more taxes on himself, is he is really advocating that others, like himself ought to be taxed more. In other words, just like any Mercedes Marxist, he wants the state to go after other people’s money.

The fact that they are asking for it makes me believe they already found a way of profiting from it.

When most of one’s income derives from capital gains asking for higher income taxes is asking for, other, less wealthy people to be taxed more.it is the milionaires asking for taxes to be increased on the working class.

Sock it to ‘em.

What’s keeping them from paying more than they owe now? There’s no law against that.

NY Gov Cuomo recently lamented that raising taxes is driving taxpayers out of the state, thus reducing revenues. Somehow this has not persuaded him to lower taxes.

This trick gets played and reported on every year. Just like the yearly report on massive increase in income inequality.

Income isn’t wealth. The wealthy pay themselves a small income then beg us to tax it while diverting the commie psychos from taxing their actual wealth. Buffet says this every year. It makes him, and others, look like a moral “man of the people”.

Nothing stopping them from writing a check to the Treasury.

Only a Democrat. Why does this loser think he can speak for others? If he wants to donate to the Government have at it.
Many people think the Gv’t needs to be pruned not fed.

Mr. Pearl,

You’re welcome to write a check to the IRS right now. Show some integrity, do it quickly so we know you’re not a liar.

Also, understand that your choice to write the check is called ‘freedom.’ Enforced altruism by way of the tax code is not freedom, it’s tyranny.

Sincerely,
A person (relatively speaking) who pays a crap-ton of tax

The ‘Patriotic’ Millionaires and the uber wealthy who say “please tax us more” understand and strongly promote that any tax increase inevitably becomes higher taxes for all.

Why didn’t someone tell him to get his checkbook out then? Do these kind of people think the rest of us are stupid? They can do whatever they want with their money - we couldn’t care less but our money - leave your dirty mitts off!

You do it, Morris Pearl, with your money, not with the money of others. They may like their money more than you do yours.

It's called philanthropy.
