They can freely pay more. Also they can not use deductions etc. This is nothing more than stupid people showboating.

Just write a check for whatever you want to the state, guarantee they won’t say no.

On the other hand the economic group among us white American to vote for Hillary were people making over 100k and the more they made the more they voted for her. These people are also the ones who own and run the MSM. They are open borders and they are the biggest supporters of the Democratic party financially. Even the Republicans among this group tend to be rinos and open borders types. I notice the more we lower taxes on them the more socialist they become. So yeah, raise their taxes. It used to be true that in times past these people were an important part of out coalition, but that is no longer true. I can't think of any thing that made me change my mind more was the "gang of eight" debacle some years ago. That is when I started to realize that it is a different world than what it used to be for us and the sooner we understand that the better.

a new multimillionaires tax on households earning more than $5 million a year in order to fund new affordable housing, infrastructure and schools. I'd be happy if they all wrote a check to the local highway departments for a Billion. Cuomo has been diverting highway funds for years to his pet social programs and the roads and bridges are a disaster. Once upon a time infrastructure was actually something the Government should do, but now can't because they absconded with the funds and fees and taxes meant for roads and highways.

“New York Millionaires Tell Albany: Tax Us, Please”
So the politicians are blocking his ability to do the right thing and share his wealth?
This man should go around the politicians and just send me the money. I’ll see it is used for the public good. And I’ll cut out the middlemen in Albany.

If they’re sincere, let them give 90% of their money to the state so it can pay lazy slobs to vote democrat.

This is meaningless. The ultra rich always have ways to hang onto their money. They can afford the accountants who specialize in helping the rich keep their money while appearing to be generous. They manage to get back what they pay in taxes. Its called in most cases crony capitalism. But the problem with such virtue signalers is that their its ok to task the rich is always a go-ahead for taxing the middle class and entrepreneurs, and small business owners who cant afford the virtue signaling. There is nothing to prevent this very wealthy man from making a private donation to the government entities of his choice. But what would he get out of that?

Here’s a governor bitching about SALT deductions and now they are going to turn around and tax the hell out of those same people anyway.
Despite what this idiot says, it won’t be enough for the politicians in this state. Look for it to filter down in the form of higher fees and taxes on EVERYTHING to make up the shortfall.

this stupid f___ing pruck is just seeking publicity (probably planning to run for some damned elective office someday)
he is welcome to pay more taxes anytime he wishes, any day, any hour .....
the gummit will happily accept additional taxes from anyone crazy or stupid enough to remit them
