Trump blasts former FBI official McCabe after explosive interview
The Hill ^ | 02/14/19 | Jordan Fabian

President Trump on Thursday mocked Andrew McCabe after the former FBI deputy director revealed he opened a probe into whether Trump obstructed justice when the president fired James Comey as FBI chief in 2017 amid the Russia investigation.

In a string of morning tweets, Trump wrote that the “disgraced” McCabe “pretends to be a ‘poor little Angel’ when in fact he was a big part of the Crooked Hillary Scandal & the Russia Hoax” and “a puppet for Leakin’ James Comey.”

The president added that an internal watchdog report that was used to justify McCabe’s ouster was “devastating.”

The report found that McCabe had a “lack of candor” with investigators looking into FBI leaks about its probe into the Clinton Foundation during the 2016 presidential race.

“McCabe is a disgrace to the FBI and a disgrace to our Country. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” the president wrote.

During an excerpt of an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” released Thursday, McCabe said that top Justice Department officials were so concerned about Trump’s decision to fire Comey in May 2017 that they discussed forming an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment to force Trump from office.

McCabe also said he ordered investigators working on the Russia probe to look into whether Trump obstructed justice or had fallen under the influence of Moscow.

Both revelations had been previously reported by media outlets, but McCabe spoke about them for the first time on record.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has denied the 25th Amendment talk and McCabe’s claim that he suggested wearing a wire during conversations with Trump.

Trump turned his focus to the Russia probe as Congress rushes to complete a spending deal to avert a government shutdown by midnight Friday. The package contains only a fraction of the money Trump demanded for his long-desired border wall, but the president has suggested he may use his own powers to build it.

Andrew McCabe admits he and others were involved in a coup to remove a democratically elected President from office and liberals celebrate:

Donald Trump Exposes Andrew McCabe

"Disgraced FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe pretends to be a “poor little Angel” when in fact he was a big part of the Crooked Hillary Scandal & the Russia Hoax - a puppet for Leakin’ James Comey. I.G. report on McCabe was devastating. Part of “insurance policy” in case I won." - President Trump

“McCabe had a “lack of candor” “

Wait. Would that be the same lack of candor that sent 29 armed men to Roger Stone’s house at 0600?

President Trump should consider having the US Marshals arrest Mueller and his entire team for national security clearance violations with respect to the motion Stone’s attorney made yesterday. In that motion it was stated the act of unsealing the indictment occurred approximately 8:30 am; CNN was on site to greet the arresting agents before 6 am; CNNs attorney sent Stone’s attorney a copy of the sealed indictment without the SECRET classification prominent.

This is what they call prima fascia evidence, it’s on the face of the documents admitted to the court. Leaking to CNN is a felony. Not reporting the leak is a felony. Sending secret documents to unsecured parties is a felony.

They all belong in Gitmo.

The cover of Little Orphan Andy’s new “book” makes me puke. Very offensive to Americans.

McCabe should have been arrested for his part in lying to a FISA court, he wasn’t so now we have 60 minutes giving him national platform to tell his lies.

So for once the MSM was punctual. A crystal ball reader told them that soon soldiers would “take a stone from a house before the first rays of the rising Sun and a great hue and cry would develop.” Someone at CNN interpreted her prophecy correctly.
Amazing any of them were sobered up by that hour.

And from seeing Fired Scott Pelley, a proven Trump hater, talk about it, they are going to coverup his lies and focus on the anti-Trump 25th amendment CRAP. It's disgusting.

Not reporting the leak is a felony.

Now I wonder if this applies to the Obama judge as well, if she didn’t inform the FISA court of the motion.

CNNs attorney sent Stone’s attorney a copy of the sealed indictment without the SECRET classification prominent.

That is an infraction, but it isn't a crime. The crime is sending a secret document to someone not authorized to receive it (clearance, need to know and reasonable belief it will be adequately protected). Even if you and I are both cleared I cannot give you classified information in a Walmart parking lot. Yes, you have a duty to protect it, but I still had a duty to ensure that it is properly protected at all times, which you cannot do in a Walmart parking lot.

The CNN attorney has neither a clearance, nor need to know, nor facilities authorized for the storage and handling of classified information.

This "elected official fires investigator, investgator's agency launches obstruction-of-justice investigation against elected official" is a repeat of the template developed back in 2013, when Texas Republican governor Rick Perry was indicted by a grand jury in Travis County for threatening to not fund the "Public Integrity Unit." This was after the Travis County DA, Democrat Rosemary Lehmberg, refused to step down after a DWI conviction.

Basically, Lehmberg empaneled a grand jury to indict the governor over a political argument; she called his using his budget veto power a case of "obstruction of justice."

Perry was cleared of all charges by the Texas Third Court of Appeals in February 2016, after the case had dragged on through the media for more than two years.
