Since lynching doesnt just mean hanging someone, look for its definition to be greatly expanded, maybe even to include making someone feel bad.
Out of the many things disturbing about this entire Jussie-Kamala production is the fact that everything to the dems is distilled into "how does this help me get votes?". They've already made the word racism into a catchall to use when someone disagrees with you...
or even someone just showing up in front of a camera, claiming to feel bad and asking for the media to go out and find the unnamed white person who made them feel bad
I’m pretty sure lynching does historically mean hanging, although a report that claims there have been 5 lynchins in the past 10 years, 3 of them were people being run over by cars, one was a break-in shooting, and one was a suicide by hanging that the family insists was a lynching by the friends of the white woman the guy was dating.
Interestingly, while the definition doesn’t limit the death to “hanging”, it generally references a mob of people doing the deed.
“Lynching definition, to put to death, especially by hanging, by mob action and without legal authority”
“A lynching is an unlawful murder by an angry mob of people. Throughout history, dominant groups have used lynchings as a way of controlling minorities. ... Lynchings have most often involved hanging, especially during the period of racially motivated lynchings in the American South.”
“Definition of lynch. transitive verb. : to put to death (as by hanging) by mob action without legal approval or permission The accused killer was lynched by an angry mob. “
