I think the question then is-- did these guys turn on Smollett or are the cops/DA not going to pursue this hoax because of political correctness?
the cops said new evidence came to light during their interrogation and now they are free..my guess they spilled the beans..said Smollett hired them to do it..that is not a crime on their part
I think those Nigerian brothers sang like canaries..according to a fox news source, you can see Smollett on video walking to his apartment HOLDING a Subway sandwich bag, also something the brothers told the cops changed everything..they sang, they were hired to do something, so legally they are both innocent of a crime they did nothing wrong except what they were told to do
