Over the objection of the city's police chief and mayor, Portland, Oregon's city council on Wednesday narrowly voted to stop cooperating with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), citing alleged surveillance of left-wing activists and arguing that the partnership between local officials and federal authorities was ultimately ineffective.
Law enforcement officials said a similar decision by San Francisco officials in 2017 had endangered the public, and that the New York City Police Department's membership in the JTTF has directly helped foil numerous terrorists, including would-be Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad.
Portland, a virulently left-wing city, has had a rocky relationship with the JTTF. The city joined the partnership in the 1990s, left shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and signed back up in 2015.

When the left coast seceeds from the Union, this will make things much simpler.
It is time for the DoD to start pulling assets from the Left Three States. When they do seceed, they shouldn’t have any significant assets left.
The US needs to take the entire West Coast, go inland about 100 miles and set off charges and create a gigantor river/natural barrier to it. Then let them become their own country and live how they want to live.
For the normal folks that live in the effected areas, we can figure out a way for you to do a, one for one swap, with radical, insane Leftists that want to move there.

Born in Pendleton OR in 1950, raised in Weston OR until we moved to Texas in 56, we went back many times to visit family and friends. Portland used to be a great city but now has turned into something that no longer resembles it’s past, what a shame.
Oh hell no. We aren’t giving up territory. I’ve got to just wonder how much of this Communist incursion goes away when Cuba and Venezuela are once again controlled by the people and not Russia and China.

The JTTF is an indispensable tool to fight multi national terror groups. The guys on the JTTF aren’t made up of types like Strozk and Page. They are made up of types like Dan Bongino and Jonathan Gillum. State and local agencies don’t have the resources or manpower necessary to keep their cities safe from terror attacks, the Feds provide a force multiplier, a long with additional technology to make that happen. I abhor what the upper levels of the FBI has become, but make no mistake without JTTF, American cities are a more dangerous place.
Like California, Oregon has seceded from the union
Both must be nationalized and downgraded to territorial status. The entire governance must be arrested and concentrated in prisons. The military will take control of the government.

I thought FBI was only interested in coup d’etat against conservatives. I think we’re at the poin where left and right agree that FBI needs to be done.

Exactly. I would not be surprised if the FBI stages another event in order to sway the locals into cooperation. Law enforcement has learned how to use fear for their own gain!!

Like many states a few high population area’s rule the state. Here’s a map of counties in Oregon and how they voted. There’s only 36 counties in Oregon, 29 voted for Trump.

Funny thing about Sumpter being used in your post.
There was a street sign in Columbia for years on a major road saying Sumpter was x miles away when it was Sumter. Government in action.
At this stage I am all for pulling as many plugs as possible from the FBI.
