About 25 years ago on Long Island, NY, the underage girlfriend of a guy named “Joey Buttafuoco” tried to murder Joey's wife.

Big scandal, lot’s of unproven accusations, lot’s of news coverage.

Joey's last name was definitely a centerpiece of the story!
