The Democratic Party establishment is about to experience the same kind of internal warfare the GOP faced in 2010 and beyond with the rise of the so-called “Tea Party” movement, and it’s liable to have a deleterious effect on the party in 2020.
The rising “Democratic Socialist” faction has only just begun to flex its muscle, having won a few seats during the November midterms but clearly looking to capitalize on those gains in 2020 and beyond. Its members are feisty, defiant, fiercely suspicious of the Democratic hierarchy, and champing at the bit to shed the last vestiges of political moderation and take the party full Marxist.
And to that end, several of the party’s declared 2020 presidential contenders are clearly ready to adopt that economic model because their campaigns have stuck gauged the political winds and they are convinced that’s the direction their party is headed, thanks in large part to the popularity of the Democratic Socialist faction.
But the party’s Marxist newbies are going to be upset by who the young Marxist Millennials are choosing: A couple of establishment white guys, at least according to early polling in New Hampshire, an early primary state.

The rise of the Tea Party in 2009 resulted in the Trump election and the ongoing hostile takeover of the GOP by deplorables.
Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct and replaced with patriots.
The Democrats have been socialists for thirty years, if not longer. They’ve always denied it vehemently, saying terrible things to anyone who made the accusation. It was all a damn lie.
Now we see the truth, as their younger and stupider (if that’s possible) upcoming generation makes the decision that there’s going to be a gigantic backlash against PDJT, and that backlash will carry them to a full-socialist takeover of the United States government.
They thought it would happen when Obama became president and the Democrats held both houses of Congress. They were terribly disapointed when it didn’t happen; the younger ones decided that the baby-boom era Democrat “elders” were fools that needed to be swept aside. That’s what they’re attempting now.
If Kamala, Spartacus, Poca-honky, the Castro kid, Beto, and the other Persons of Color stake out positions which make them unelectable, the party elite may decide that they can’t possibly nominate an old white guy like Biden or Bernie...so Hillary Clinton will ride in to save the day.
Better yet Bush league pubbies need to become patriots. Along with many other “Americans”.
Globalists becoming nationalists? Never happen.
AOC is too young to run.
Problem is, no matter who the Rats nominate, they will have “ballot harvesting” operations in every state where it’s legal, and that alone will probably get them near 270 electoral votes.
I know, that’s it would be fun to write her name in! Make the Dems look stupid, while at the same time, warning our side about the fact that she’s coming in 2024.
They aren’t worried about a lurch to the left. They are worried about the youngsters who are starting to be honest about it.
Bush League Republicans would not be Bush League Republicans hell bent on making the USA into North Mexico if they were patriots.
They are never going to side with the citizens and the rule of law.
