A first would nation like the USA would be better off just importing fruits and vegetables. Leave the stoop labor to the third world.

"It puts a black mark on our states," she said.

Shouldn't have said that ...

Sounds like the first step toward institutionalizing slavery there. First register, then regulate and tax.

>>On Thursday, the labor committee amended the bill to exclude potatoes, onions, wheat and vegetables from the bill’s definition of agricultural products.

Publicly reprimand the labour party board for be “okay with that” when slavery occurs in potatoe, onion (aka yon-yon), wheat, and “vegetable” farming (by exploited Mexican illegal alien labour).

"They thought it came out of left field," she said.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahahaha..........

I don't know how that phrase got started, but it's appropriate - everything that comes from the Left is so stupid it defies belief.

The Democrat controlled legislature is going full tilt to punish what is perceived as Trump supporters. And the governor is close to announcing a run for the White House. Liberals everywhere are totally off the rails.

What hypocrisy. The massage parlous in Florida that trapped Kraft use coerced labour of illegals, the same way that farmers, factories and warehousing businesses do. The only effective way to stop illegal border crossing is to make it impossible for these people to obtain employment or obtain welfare benefits. Any company that is hiring illegals needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and Federal law needs to be changed to make it unlawful for any State or Municipal government and/or law enforcement agency to aid and abet illegals (including withholding information from ICE and failing to detain illegals who are already in custody).

This entire bill is asinine. Slavery is already illegal in the United States (unless the state of Washington has passed a law) and anyone doing human trafficking or not reporting human trafficking is already committing a crime.

This is purely a political attack bill - aka HATE SPEECH.

The proper return attack on this bill is why the “honorable” legislator hasn’t given enough funding to the police to hunt down these human traffickers - including those bringing in illegal immigrants across state lines.

The first image that came to mind was a small dairy owner’s 15 year old daughter reporting her parents for making her work.

“Peonage is also called debt servitude and involves an employer compelling workers to pay off a debt through their labor. “

We are all peons to the government.

There’s a reason there’s so many innovations in farm equipment. The United Farm Workers should realize that many farm jobs are now being done by machine.

Australia is a first world nation and it just automated most of it’s agriculture because they don’t have a flood of cheap labor. That’s a better solution.

Step back and look at the big picture. Dems attack anything productive. It’s hard to get people who are not hungry and suffering up in arms to justify their wet dream of a police state.

They are absolutely drooling with envy over the magnificent success of Venezuela, Iran and Cuba, and even the less mature police states we are seeing emerge in western Europe.
