The Constitution doesn’t contemplate what to do when one branch or body of government has been overtaken by those who hate the US and intend to burn it to the ground to remake it into a Socialist dream

I believe the Founding Fathers debated how to stop a new king from being president and new destructive enemies from taking over the House and Senate but facing a strong Admin. Admin and Judicial branch.
“Balance of powers” has had a rocky course in its travel, however.
The Fathers didn’t have the new media (just freedom of the press as Jefferson ranked higher than the government-—pre-Rachel Maddow. Posting handbills and speaking in taverns won’t save us today. The first gets you tossed in jail overnight and the second could end in a brawl and a week in jail. Oh, well.
Thomas Jefferson:
.were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers & be capable of reading them.
Yes, it does.

Technically correct.
However, the solution is in the Bill Of Rights.
It actually does. It empowers us to change our government by force if necessary.
The Constitution doesnt contemplate what to do when one branch or body of government has been overtaken by those who hate the US and intend to burn it to the ground to remake it into a Socialist dream.
Sure it does. See Amendment the Second.

I beg to differ.
