This nonsensical answer in both short and long form, is a perfect example of a university student who has neither studied nor understood the course material. Unfortunately, I doubt the professor’s understanding and presentation of capitalism was any deeper than what AOC presents here.

Absolutely correct. Even more ironic, it was Marx that coined the term “capitalism” to describe free markets. He used it as an insult. Free market people adopted the phrase to pull his chain.
Well if Cortez the Conquerer had actually run a profit at her former capitalistic business venture, she would have learned that government is funded by profit. No profit means no taxes and trillions in government debt you idiot.
