Some of our rabbis are just plain STUPID, the kind who felt that because they were “good Germans” nothing would happen to them. They should have listed to Hitler and Goebbels rather than their rabbis. Most were killed by their stupidity and willing blindness.

Met a man today who escaped the bombing of Poland by the Germans and then the Russian invasion of Poland when his family took him as a 4 year old and fled to Siberia for a
while. They understood what Hitler had planned, and also to some degree, Stalin. They were able to survive and eventually come to America via France (driven out by the French police), Argentina where they were treated reasonably well before Peron took over, and then to the U.S. where he became an Mechanical Engineer.
The smart survive. The weak, afraid, and stupid don’t.
