I doubt this will get much coverage.

Of the 50 people charged in the college scandal, the Washington Free Beacon found only one gave consistently to Republican candidates.

Ah, there they go - since 1 out of 50 also gave to the GOP, the media can say "they all do it" as cover.

I really want to see the tweets of these people being all SJW. That would be super.

I doubt ANYTHING will happen to them.

As proven, all it takes is money.

Rubio, Romney, and Boehner? I thought they said he was a Republican donor.

He supported Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) in 2016, and Romney and John Boehner before that.

If the media starts shoving microphones in any politician's face to ask if they will give back the money from the donors, these will probably be the only ones - as this scandal is a sure sign of Republican corruption since 1 out of 50 gave some donations to some Republican candidates. Then as an aside, they can briefly throw into the report: "our investigation also found some of those charged donated to Democrats as well." If this aspect of the scandal is reported at all, that will be the media narrative: A GOP scandal with some minimal Democrat involvement.

The only coverage it will get is that there was a Republican donor who cheated.

Fr. Guido Sarducci was on the right track. 10 minutes watching PMSNBC or CNN will teach you the same things you remember 10 years after attending a “justice” university. And it’s free, except for loss of IQ points.

Many of the principals in this care are cooperating and ratting out everybody they can think of. It's high enough priority that it looks like a lot of very big people will be doing some time. If anybody wants to know how this process works, read Orange is the New Black, the autobiographical story of what happened to a white upper middle class woman who was a money runner for a drug cartel. In short, she was able to plead a serious felony down to a 15 month sentence in a minimum security camp. To do it she had to inform on everybody she knew or knew of. Lots of that is likely to happen here. Start the popcorn!

Some of the kids didn't want to go to any of the elite colleges to learn anything or to prepare for any meaningful career. Their social media postings make clear that they hate 'school', but they did want to check out the party scene.

Apparently, to keep the kid from flunking out, the elite, money-galore parents would have to pay for passing grades for each quiz, midterm or final exam for as many semesters as their child wanted to continue partying.
