President Donald Trump said he is grounding all Boeing 737 Max jets.

Which is fine by me. Figure it out first, fix it, then let them fly over my house.

I think President Trump is being particularly magnanimous in allowing 737’s currently in flight to land.

This is a no-brainer buying opportunity.

Some people are going to get rich off this.

Some freeper stated the Boeing 737 Max is an inherently unstable plane due to design changes from previous Boeing 737s. That is why the plane relies so heavily on a a computer to fly straight. I understand many military planes are designed to be unstable so they can perform high G maneuvers on a dime or for reasons of the airframe is maximized for stealth. Are there other commercial jets with a design flaw like this?

The Ethiopian ones? I heard they’d been recovered, but that’s all. Does NTSB have any say?

Sw is going to start flying the 737-800 to Hawaii, I’m not sure if the 800 is the same as the MAX.

Every morning I have four slices of Oscar Mayer pre-cooked, packaged bacon for breakfast. Every time since I've started doing this I have to take a pair of scissors to the inner packaging in order to get it open, even though it's a zip-top, resealable package. And every time I ask myself, why in heaven's name don't they test this packaging before they sell bacon in it to the public? Why not get some people to try it out first?

I have the same feeling about this Boeing deal. With all the money they put into this advanced technology, why not put it through some practical paces before selling the damn thing and losing your shirt to a malfunction that you might have seen beforehand?

I'm guessing pilots inputting manual commands causes conflicts with automated systems resulting in unstable flight characteristics leading to crashes.

Also look for defective pitot tubes giving pilots incorrect information!

He is right..ground them, find out what happened, if it was human error, the planes go back up, if something needs to be fixed than you fix them..its not worth the risk keeping these planes in the air without knowing what happened
