A federal judge ordered multiple senior Obama Administration officials, State Department officials and former Hillary Clinton aides Thursday to provide answers under oath to questions requested by Judicial Watch after a roughly four year court battle.
Judicial Watch, a leading conservative non-profit watchdog group, announced the schedule of depositions in their case in a press release Thursday. The Judicial Watch questions regard two separate cases regarding the Obama administrations actions during the Benghazi terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate and CIA Annex in Libya, and Hillary Clintons use of a private server to send classified government emails.
Judicial Watch is doing the heavy lifting on the ongoing Clinton email scandal, even as Congress dropped the ball and DOJ and State continued to obstruct our quest for the truth, said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, in a press release Thursday. The Court in our case wants real answers on the Clinton email scandal which is why our request for basic discovery was granted.
District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered senior officials including Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Jacob Sullivan, and FBI official E.W. Priestap to respond under oath and submit the answers in writing to the questions provided by Judicial Watch. The decision from Lamberth was made this past January.
Lamberth ordered the discovery from the watchdogs July 2014 FOIA lawsuit, which was filed after the State Department failed to respond to an earlier request made May 13, 2014.

The end is nearer!
I cannot recall...
Judicial Watch: a handful of lawyers. No public funding. No statutory authority. No arrest powers. No prosecutorial powers.
Department of Justice: an army of lawyers and support staff. Lavish public funding, gold-plated pensions, transportation budget, etc. Full statutory authority. Full arrest powers. Prosecutorial super powers.
Guess which one has actually pursued obvious, longstanding and pervasive lawbreaking?
God Bless Judge Lamberth!
I cant recall. Sorry, I have no recollection of that. Im not sure. I dont know. Etc., etc., etc.
And if that doesn’t work “what difference, at this point does it make?” And then the fall back “depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.”
Does I cannot recall qualify as an answer?
The Democrats have been running this bluff for seven years.
If you try to prosecute our Queen, well do something bad!
Well.....go ahead......throw your tantrum.....lets see your worst.....
Dont be surprised if it earns you a spanking.
You just know that Hilly hates Judicial Watch with a passion - probably hates them more than just about anybody (except Trump) right about now. She’s back in the ‘hot seat’ on a couple of fronts .... not saying she’s out of the frying pan and into the fire, but I’d imagine things are getting uncomfortably warm on various fronts that she thought were or soon would be stone cold dead.
I understand Judge Lamberth is on the verge of retiring. We will lose a stalwart on the bench, going back to the Whitewater days.
It is a good thing JW is uncovering all this dirt. No telling how long it would take DoJ! 😒
Let Republicanprofessor know if you want on or off this ping list.
Get Lynch under oath!
Once again we'll see that people who claim to know everything will admit to knowing nothing when it comes to avoiding accountability.
...... I am sure the magical legal amulet of .... “I Don’t Recall” .... will be used in record numbers .....
And don’t forget the GOP. It had two precious years to get to the bottom of all this and they largely wasted it.
The Democrats are good at dodging responsibility. The Republicans are good at pretending they want it.
Depends on the definition of "wasted". Some could say the GOP performed according to plan...
So, more Hogan’s Heroes reruns.
