Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) on Thursday slammed Vice President Pence for having said he would not dine alone with women, calling it “outrageous.”
In a brief interview with MSNBC, the 2020 presidential candidate was asked what she thought about Pence.
“I disagree with him when he suggests it’s not possible to have meetings with women alone by himself,” she said. “I think that’s ridiculous — the idea that you would deny a professional woman the opportunity to have a meeting with the vice president of the United States is outrageous.”
Harris was referring to comments Pence made to The Hill in 2002, in which he said he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife. The comments were later resurfaced by The Washington Post in 2017, sparking a furor.
Alyssa Farah, Pence’s press secretary, quickly responding to Harris in a post on Twitter, knocking her for “repeating this false claim.”
"He’s elevated women to positions of leadership throughout his career & relies on their advice & counsel,” Farah wrote. “Get your facts straight.”
Harris’s comments regarding Pence were prompted by MSNBC host Peter Alexander asking for her take on fellow 2020 presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) saying Pence is not an “honorable person.”
“I disagree with most of what the vice president stands for, when he makes decisions about our LGBTQ community in a way that doesn’t understand that they should be entitled to full equality and all rights under the law as any other American,” Harris said in response.
Pence, a devout and outspoke believer in the Christian faith, previously opposed same-sex marriage and is not viewed as an advocate for LGBTQ rights.

It is outrageous to her because she is, for lack of a better word, a pig. The scripture says that a fair woman who lacks discretion is like a pig with a ring in its nose.

I have heard many men are now doing the same. Why does Kamala think doctors almost always have a nurse in an examination room with them, especially Ob/Gyn doctors. I have also talked to quite a few women who say they are making sure their sons/grandsons are making sure they are not alone with girls they don’t know.
After my divorce I did, of course; during dating. When my now wife and I got serious, not a chance in hell, business or otherwise that I sit down alone with another woman and break bread. Not blaming women at. all. Just a personal preference to spend my one on one time with the opposite sex with my wife and that is how it will be for the rest of my life. I choose that and relish in it. I love her and find no reason why another woman should occupy what I consider my wife’s seat. Hope that I didn’t come across as sexist.
In the current situation, I don’t blame him.
And I sure as HELL wouldn’t have a one-on-one meeting with Willie Brown’s Meat Puppet Harris.
Who knows what bullsh*t she or any other demoterrorist would make up.

I have had numerous young Mormons work for me over the years.
If my wife offered to give them a ride anywhere, even across the street, they would not do it. They will not be alone with married woman.
The liberal mind doesn’t understand what it means to do this out of respect for one’s spouse. They only see it as something to be offended about.
I’ve watched Harris in action in several hearings. She’s just a nasty, bitter, angry scorned woman who despises most Americans ... especially natural-born citizens which she can never be.

I agree and know what you mean. It’s like the wheels are turning in her head and it’s not for the good of anyone.
Especially not with her or her type.
Women like Heels up Harris are exactly why professional men should never be alone with a woman other than his wife.
