I thought it was now commonly accepted to use the word “normalcy” in place of ‘normality’. Maybe because Harding was a Republican, if you’re on the left you use ‘normality’.

I agreed with Jimmy DeYoung that he was looking like a good candidate for Antichrist, there, quit a bit.

I wouldn’t blanket all of the women with the same cloth, no pun intended for the hijab wearing folk... but there has been an uptick in anti-Israel news lately. My guess is it has to do with laying some groundwork to oppose Trump’s upcoming Israeli-Arab peace initiative and/or because Trump has made some dramatic (if not all that substantial) moves to pressure Palestinian political reform.

Forgive me, I was an English major. The etymology of the word always stuck. Normality was the correct word, until President Harding said “normalcy” in a speech back during the Prohibition era. He was lampooned for that word at the time, but it soon started to enter the lexicon.
