Irish PM brings partner to meet Mike Pence and delivers pointed remarks on sexuality

Warning: Hypocritical hit piece

The Irish prime minister, Leo Varadkar, who is gay, brought his partner to a meeting on Thursday with the US vice-president, Mike Pence, a conservative Christian once dubbed “the face of anti-LGBTQ hate in America”.

Varadkar, who is in Washington this week to reaffirm the longstanding shared history between the two countries, brought his partner, Matt Barrett, to a St Patrick’s Day breakfast at the vice-presidential residence at the Naval Observatory.

Varadkar tweeted that he and Barrett had received a “warm reception” at Pence’s home, but in pointed remarks to Pence and gathered media, he also called out various forms of discrimination.

“I lived in a country where if I’d tried to be myself at the time, it would have ended up breaking laws,” he said. “But today, that is all changed. I stand here, leader of my country, flawed and human, but judged by my political actions, and not by my sexual orientation, my skin tone, gender or religious beliefs.”

Thanks for the sentiment towards keeping my conservative Irish mother (who voted for Trump) out of the USA.

That said, these snakes who inhabit an Ireland I no longer recognize, and which was nothing like this even in the 1980s, need to be driven into the sea.

A weird country that has always been a bit off.

The ones that got out were the smart ones.

And all of them in NYC (where a vast amount of them end up) are left-wing nutcases. Drunks, too.

For anyone interested, I recommend a new book called “Say Nothing” by American Patrick Radden Keefe about the appalling abduction and murder of Jean McConville by Gerry Adams, Delours & Marian Price. What a crazy country and people!

Oh, as usual, the Irish-lovers show up to cry about their great families. Well, I’m “Irish” too and I say to hell with their country and let’s keep them out of our country. Ever hear what their exchange students do in California? Check it out.

Heck, if it weren’t for the Polish immigrants, there wouldn’t be any Christians left in Ireland.

Right on.

It disgusts me what this guy did in the presence of Mike Pence - a decent American put down by a typically smug, left-wing Irishman. When will we learn not to put up with this?

God invented whiskey to keep the Irish from ruling the world. With couples like this there won’t be any Irish to drink it, will there?

I believe I’ve read it and they called it Sodom and Gomorrah. It didn’t end well.

“Varadkar spoke publicly for the first time about being gay: “it’s not something that defines me. I’m not a half-Indian politician, or a doctor politician or a gay politician for that matter. It’s just part of who I am, it doesn’t define me, it is part of my character I suppose”.[13] Varadkar was a prominent advocate of the same-sex marriage referendum.[14][15] His partner, Matthew Barrett, is a doctor at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.[16][17]”

Apparently it defines him sufficiently to want to rub other people’s noses in it.

Look how much sexuality was defined by the medical psychological establishment has a mental disorder for centuries and it was changed about 20 years ago

I’m sorry but I believe that it still is a psychological disorder to be not wanting to procreate and go with God’s plan

I will not go out on the street corner and proselytize this but I believe it in the fiber of my soul

Furthermore I truly believe that to go through this life and not create children is a great loss to your SELF

And finally if you find yourself at a point where you haven’t had children
devote your life to helping others so that you can get that good karma

It’s just a lot easier if you have little ones and teenagers and stuff because you’ll get sucked into it by the nature of the circumstance

Are wonderful and great vice president mr PENCE , so smartly chosen by our wonderful and extraordinarily great President Donald J Trump , is an excellent role model for all of society and humanity

In particular his point of never being alone with a strange woman is a very good point

myself and my wife have had this same agreement - not being famous people or politicians, because it’s respect for each other and the marriage

So reading the other day how camel toe tried to criticize him on that just the other day makes me laugh at that stupid woman even more

Cheers.

I think that is true. That and 2 World Wars killed all the brave and strong. Think what the gene pool left after all of that.

Then again France was a power house through WW1. Look at them now. They might pull it off. (Not).
