Not sure they're itching for another civil war, but the animosity is pretty bitter.

The Spanish Civil War still rages without the shooting. But anyone who remembers 1936-39 as an adult is now at least 100 years of age.

It’s like our Civil War; still active though no longer part of living memory.

The Spaniards should just drop it and engage the Muslim threat within; muzzies regard Spain as unredeemed Islamic territory and they want it back.
