Thanks for sharing that.
A few years ago, my company decided to bring in some leftist/feminist/Communist to give a "seminar" on "Micro-aggression in the Workplace."
As you can suspect, people knew beforehand that the premise of this "seminar" was to browbeat and humiliate anyone who dared to have a different opinion from the liberal wackjob mob.
When not enough people signed up, they made it "mandatory." As suspected, the woman giving the "seminar" started demeaning anyone who was not a leftist/feminist/Communist, and encouraged other employees to "call them out" if they didn't agree. Someone stood up, and told her that she spouted "Macro-Aggression" and that her "words were offensive." The leftists in the room gasped! How dare you!!!
Those Khmer Rouge self-criticism sessions you describe would be bearable if they are on company time and you don’t have to make it up staying late; let the company bear the costs of the Red Trojan Horse they let inside the gates.
“Someone stood up, and told her that she spouted ‘Macro-Aggression’ and that her ‘words were offensive.’”
Wow. That took some balls. Did that person survive? I got in big trouble for simply rolling my eyes during one of those awful mandatory PC seminars. (I love retirement.)
lol
Someone had guts!
