Well, I didn’t actually know the man except by reputation, & won’t revile him, but at the same time I have no particular soft spot in my heart for him either. It was disgraceful that he called himself a Republican & voted the way he did. His actions as a politician will not be missed by many.
You know what, being blinded by hate doesn’t work so well in the end.
When RBG drops I will have a drink at home but I will leave it at that.
I don’t think pop would approve of bashing the dead if he were still here.

I knew one former Vietnam POW, an F-4 pilot who retired as a colonel. He, too, was in the Hanoi Hilton for a time and spent even more time as a POW than McCain. To say that he hated John McCain would be a gross understatement, but I never learned why.
