This ultimatum would have pissed off the Brits I knew from years past. Namely one cigar-chomping one.
This isn’t an ultimatum. The UK, Theresa May two years ago herself set the date of 29th March 2019. Now she is asking for an extension to the date she set. So the EU is rightly saying “why? What good will it do? Either vote no or take the no deal option”
