Rest in peace heroes. God bless your service and I pray that He will give your families the strength and courage to face these terrible days ahead.

“...they were killed during a fight with the Taliban.”

Are these the same Taliban Pres. Trump wants to negotiate with, or is he going to negotiate with some other Taliban?

The solution to Afghanistan is few acwell placed neutron bombs, then repopulate.

Iran has a coast and is next to Iraq. Much easier to access than from a landlocked country.

Control of insurgents in or out? I know... we can’t control out own borders.

Why the F are we still there?

I have a better question:

Why the hell is anyone enlisting in the U.S. armed forces to get stationed in these Islamic sh!t-holes?

ISIS remnants are looking for new rear-area bases in which to regroup, train, equip and then move out again.

The Taliban is just as much a threat to the West (esp. with their control of a lot of the poppy growing areas/heroin production in Afghanistan.

Where do you think much of the heroin in Europe and even the US comes from, K-Mart? Mexico is basically the only country in the western hemisphere that produces heroin. Red China, Burma/parts of Thailand and possibly No. Vietnam are the main producers of heroin in Asia besides Afghanistan.

ISIS, Al Qaeda and other affinity groups will traffic in drugs to raise money for arms and supplies, even in Central Africa, northern Africa and moving it through Lebanon/Syria/parts of Iraq/Iran.

They are the enemy and must be checked. I would prefer nuked but that’s just my choice of options.

*** Why the F are we still there? ***

Because we are making nice with the Taliban? Ask Pompeo. Ask the President.

Feb 6, 2019 · In his State of the Union speech Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump said his administration is holding “constructive talks” with the Taliban and other Afghan groups, and that “as we make progress ...
