Well, part of the reason the RATS won the House....besides early voting shenanigans and ballot harvesting in California...is because 45 House Republicans chose not to run.
The power of the incumbency is strong, and most of them would have won. The silver lining...if there is one...most of these GOP types who quit are RINOs.
But like you said, this nonsense investigation played a role in the loss of the House.
