If Swalwell had a single brain cell, it would be lonesome. The guy lives in lalaland. Nothing he has ever said, on any subject, is credible. Democrats can really pick them.
I think when it comes to congressmen, the DNC cares only if the guy is photogenic, with a big mouth full of relatively straight teeth. Almost all of them are either photogenic, or quick witted, and since the DNC loves to indulge in identity politics, which they know their base will like, that’s who they run. (Of course, most women candidates usually have to run on their brains and accomplishments, unless they have an “in”, such as had Her Heinous, Hillary Rotten Clinton.)
