There is no “glossing over” how the German conglomerate that now owns iconic American glazed Krispy Kreme donuts once made its dough — on the blood and forced labor orchestrated by the Nazi party, it conceded on Monday following a popular German tabloid’s published account.

The Bild am Sonntag newspaper report of the Nazi ties to the Reimann family and its JAB Holding Co. was confirmed by spokesman and company executive Peter Harf, and reported in English on the Deutsche Welle media site.

Krispy Kreme Donuts Inc. was sold to a unit of JAB Holding for about $1.35 billion in 2016, a deal that took the donut maker with southern U.S. roots private.

Heck, a good number of their children are near death as well. Millennials, the great-grandchildren of the children of the WW2 vets, are set to pass the children of WW2 vets as the most populous age group in the United States. The boomers are nearing the proverbial grave now and this is scaring the healthcare industry. Not because of the costs involved with geriatrics but because the system is set up to deal with the volume of boomers which is slowly dwindling. Since the millennials don't have the numbers that of the boomer generation, we will not need as many doctors and nurses as we do now. Forget robots, we need more people to keep doctors and nurses employed.
