The only confusion is that Comey confused hope with reality. He hoped, against all hope, that Mueller would pull a collusion out of a hat where no collusion existed. Mueller attempted that by pretending that he couldn’t make a decision on obstruction, where none of that existed, either. Barr, along with the trapped Rosenstein, blew that out of the water too. Comey is now a paralyzed ‘deer-in-the-headlights’ with a 100,000 pound semi bearing down on him at 100 mph, with nowhere to jump.
