It’s amazingballs how “Rev.” Al “Jew them down” Sharpton’s well-known corporate shakedown racket has become the business model for so many organizations these days.
In the 80s, it was common knowledge (and discussed in “Stiffed: A True Story of MCA, the Music Business, and the Mafia”) that if you gave Al a check, he’d drop his threat of protesting your corporate offices. An example cited was threatening public taunts and protest because of too few black people working on some Michael Jackson album. No staff changes were made, just financial payoff.
