— Hudson County and city officials said they will implement new safety measures in Lincoln Park following last week’s sexual assault and murder of a woman who was jogging in the county park.
In a packed meeting Tuesday night at the Hank Gallo Community Center in the park, elected officials discussed the park’s safety after Carolina Cano was sexually assaulted and strangled in the park during her 5:30 a.m. jog on March 24. Cano’s body was recovered from the park’s lake a couple hours later.

It occurred in a sanctuary city AND a sanctuary state (Jersey City, NJ); I’ve posted for years how these foreigners are brought in to replace dying cities AND dying states.
Don’t assume the victim wasn’t an illegal as well; the news won’t detail her status, only saying she arrived a couple of years ago and worked as a nanny (both red flags). If she was illegal, then she wasn’t paying for police protection. Sounds cold, but if that was the case, TWO American jobs were saved (the perp’s and hers)

Citizens can pack all the meetings they want but they should be packing voting booths to throw out the Democrat grifters that permeate the politics of New Jersey. All the packing of meetings will not change the rotting culture of this once great state.

Unfortunately the world is such where one can’t go for a hike, walk or run without due vigilance. I see people running all the time with headphones, I’m shocked how they block out awareness of their surroundings.
There are so many illegals here in the whole state because many Americans - and their employers - have been chased out by high taxes. They imports the dregs of the Third World just to keep the lights on, but it is a losing game: They contribute little or nothing economically, but run up huge costs in freebies and crime.
