Nielsen previously chaired a World Economic Forum committee that authored a report praising mass migration into Europe. For her confirmation process to DHS, Nielsen worked with an assortment of allies that worked vigorously in the 2016 presidential election to oppose Trump, including Frances Townsend and Tom Ridge.

For those who don’t know....
Besides her public support for DACA Amnesty, Nielsen also hired a Chief of Staff who was a former H-1B lobbyist.
Trump, apparently, had no problem with those decisions - until they became politically inconvenient.
I think Nielsen was a protege of Trump’s former chief of staff, John Kelly (who was as worthless as Nielsen, as far as I’m concerned). She was never the appropriate person to make meaningful change in the U.S.’s open door, look the other way immigration system.
We need someone like Kobach or Tancredo in this position, not another compromised Chamber of Corruption candidate.
Always puzzled me why he appointed her in the first place. I know he had few choices at the start of his Presidency with all of the 0samaYomama holdovers and loyalists, but his choice of her really flummoxed me knowing that she was on record a DACA sympathizer.
As usual, lesson learned, forgotten and then PAINFULLY relearned...STAY OUT DA BUSHES!
I loved her and wish her well - but the bottom line is the bottom line.
Get results, or we need to get someone who will.

Maybe Trump should try to get someone confirmed who agrees with his policies...I know he’s constrained by the Senate but I say put it on them by making them vote down a hardliner
Time to put the Army armed with rubber bullets on the border. Fire on sight. Make sure they also have real bullets if fired upon by cartel/bad guys so they can return fire and kill them as needed. Do this for a few days and the invasion will slow to a trickle. It’s not rocket surgery; even AOC can understand it. Okay, maybe not AOC, but anyone else who is not a brainless dem should get it.

President Trump is HORRIBLE with appointing people and it’s shocking considering his business would never settle for such incompetence.

Sherrif Joe would have been an excellent choice for several reasons: Liberal heads would explode and he gives zero F’s about what public opinion is towards the actions he takes. I spent 25yrs. in corrections, and when Joe treated inmates the way every jail administrator should have, I was a fan from day one.
