Rep. Joe Kennedy: No Sports Competitions for Women or Girls, Only for ‘Human Beings’
Breitbart ^ | April 12, 2019 | NEIL MUNRO

Posted on 04/13/2019 5:05:20 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

Rep. Joe Kennedy decried sports leagues for only women and girls and said sports competitions must be for all “human beings.”

Kennedy, who chairs the Democrats’ transgender equality task force, dismissed women’s sports when Breitbart asked him during a brief interview on Capitol Hill what he would say to women and girls who lose sports competitions to “transgender” men and boys who say they are females.

“Human beings are human beings, man, that’s exactly what I’d say,” he said April 9, adding: “Human beings are 100 percent entitled to compete with whatever sport they want to compete with. Human beings are humans beings … That’s your problem.

Obviously, the equation has gone against supporting real women vs. mentally ill men.

It seems that the critical question always boils down to: "Which group, if supported, will do more to advance the mainstreaming of gay male pedophilia?"

They cloak it in all sorts of convoluted arguments, but that's always the real goal behind these absurd, manufactured social crises.

Identifying and arresting a couple hundred deviant male politicians and billionaires would probably do wonders in reverting governance back to a focus on building a sane society for the other 350 million of us.

And since a Kennedy is involved, there’s the important issue “What’s the best political cause I can advocate that will get me laid the fastest!”.

Why should there be pro teams and farm clubs. That discriminates against humans.

Why are there Pop Warner, high school, college and pro teams? That discriminates against humans.

Put ‘em all together and let the laws of nature and physics sort it out.

The left is a breeding ground for insanity. How in the world do sane people come up with this stuff? (ok, asked and answered)

How about adults competing against children?

I think that it already has hit the Olympics. IIRC the 2016 Olympics had some very unusual winners in one of the middle distance runs.

Caster Semenya is the athlete in question. There seems to be a good deal of evasive writing in discussions of her precise condition. Some of this is motivated by privacy concerns and some of it seems to be politicized cheerleading for the gender bending agenda. That said, as best I can tell, Semenya seems to be genuinely intersex -- what we used to call "hermaphrodite," though that term is now considered impermissible. When you see her clothed, she is quite masculine in appearance. Some of her medical stuff has leaked: she does not have a uterus or ovaries; she has undescended testes; she has testosterone in the male range. I cannot find anything about whether she has a penis or vagina, but when she was a rising star in school, she reportedly had to submit to visual inspections, which was humiliating and helps explain the sensitivity about explicit reporting. My guess is that she has a vagina, or opposing athletes and coaches would have objected back in her schoolgirl days. (The grumbled, but the South African sports federation let her compete as a girl.) I can't find any information about a chromosome test. She is married and refers to her spouse as her wife. I gather that they've had a child. How they did that, I don't know, but the answer would be relevant to the discussion. This is one of the sticky points that the press seems deliberately to avoid.

Yes, there are intersex individuals. Semenya is probably not the first to have caused a disruption in women's athletics at an elite level. The sports federations need a bright line rule. Saying that subjective gender identification is all that's needed to be trans is a nonsense standard that could wreck women's athletics. Dealing with a vanishingly small number of legitimately intersex individuals is more manageable. At this point, unfortunately, the argument becomes entirely asymmetrical. There is zero chance that an intersex athlete will upset the applecart in men's sports because such an individual would not gain an inherent athletic advantage from their genetic abnormality. Such individuals, however, will be very disruptive in women's sports. One solution might be to allow them to compete but put an asterisk by their names in the record books. One might even allow them to compete in women's events but to award their medals in a separate category, so that "real" women -- to use Semenya's example, women who don't have undescended testes and who therefore have normal female testosterone levels -- can still have a chance to win. Awkward, yes, but such individuals do exist and will create tough situations.

The approach described above might work in individual sports. Team sports will be a different matter. Suppose Semenya played soccer. The Women's World Cup will be held this summer. A player like Semenya could very well make a mockery of the whole tournament, as there would be no way to isolate her results from team results.

Funny and rather coincidental that his idiotic quote is placed right next to the most iconic sports photograph in recent years that proves it just isn't so...Allison Stokke:

Most feminists are done with Title IX because they don’t view it as effective enough. Even with Title IX, women’s sports are still highly underfunded and doesn’t have the respect and attention that men’s sports have. The men’s version of a sport still attracts the best coaches, the most money, and the most fans. And even today, colleges and universities still focus the bulk of their attention on their male sports programs. So many feminists view Title IX as necessary in the 60s and 70s, but now do not feel as though the law goes far enough to address the inequalities they see today.

They are betting that for college educated, white suburban women there is no bridge to far. I’ve got two in my family and I can tell you I’ve haven’t found the bridge yet. They are both intelligent, professional women who openly admit that they are totally invested in the progressive agenda to the point that rational arguments have no effect on their thinking.

The democrats won back the House on the strength of their votes. They are banking on their support going forward. We will see if that is a smart bet. I would like to think my two are outliers. We’ll see.

It already has. The top 3 finishers in the last Olympic 400 or 800 meters, can’t remember which, were transgendered men. The best WOMAN in the world came in a distant fourth after running her personal best, and based on her facial expression wasn’t very happy.

So the logical extension of Joe’s position on women’s sports is that they should be eliminated and that all sports become unisex.

The war on women continues through the office of Joe Kennedy.

Before DNA testing, doctors and family had to decide which sex to assign to such a baby. Sometimes when puberty came, it was clear that they had chosen wrong. Shouldn't this be a moot point now with the availability of DNA testing?
