President Trump said Monday he will award pro golf great Tiger Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on the heels of his comeback win at last weekend’s Masters Tournament.
“Spoke to @TigerWoods to congratulate him on the great victory he had in yesterday’s @TheMasters, & to inform him that because of his incredible Success & Comeback in Sports (Golf) and, more importantly, LIFE, I will be presenting him with the PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM!” Trump tweeted.
Woods’ victory on Sunday gave him his 15th major championship win and his fifth Masters title.

Who gives a rat’s ass? Tiger paid her beaucoup and then some for his freedom from her.
Unless you really play this game you cannot begin to understand what a great achievement this was.

Tiger acted like a jerk; he deserved to pay bigtime for both of their futures.

Trump should invite Obama to the ceremony. Obama has so much Tiger Woods envy it would be delicious.

His $500 million charity certainly “swings” this in a favourable direction.
I agree that it’s a bit over the top for winning his fifth Masters. Maybe if he got a sixth, matching Nicklaus, then it could be appropriate.

I’m glad to see him come back.....his own actions took him down to the depths of hopelessness but he rose above it and came back.......good for him.
