She “went Viking” after it became clear that Tiger had a madame service which provided him with escorts all over the country while he was on the road touring. I have no idea what my wife would have done in that situation, but it wouldn’t have been pretty or enjoyable.

What exactly did he do other than win golf games to deserve the medal?

Thirty-two sports figures have gotten the Presidential Medal of Freedom over the years. It's just an award that presidents give away.

Trump claims Tiger has turned his life around, and he probably knows him better than any of us.

Uh, yeah.

“This cheapens the Medal of Freedom.”

Criteria for being awarded Medal Of Freedom:

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Presidential-Medal-of-Freedom

“Presidential Medal of Freedom, the foremost U.S. civilian decoration, awarded to individuals who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.” Recipients of the award are selected by the president of the United States, with the assistance of the Distinguished Civilian Service Awards Board, an advisory group created in 1957. Although the majority of honorees are U.S. citizens, individuals from other countries are also eligible.”

A Medal of Freedom? Because he won a golf tournament

Yeah like Palmer got it in 2004 , and Nicklaus got it in 2005. Tiger beat Palmers Master record and is 1 behind Nicklaus. The guy no matter his faults will go down as one of the greatest golfers in history.

Not appropriate, IMHO. It’s golf, for Pete’s sake. That would diminish the value of the medal, like the Nobel Peace Prize became a joke after Obama “won” it.

"'...The person who is without sin, let him/her cast the first stone at her'......one by one, the people walked away.

Alone with the woman, Jesus asked her, 'Woman where are they, did anyone condemn you?'.... 'No one did Lord. 'Neither do I condemn you. Go on your way and from now on, sin no more.'"

Let us be known as a people, recognizing our own imperfect, sinful lives, welcome back the sinner and offer him fellowship.

The medals given out by Clinton, Bush and Obama went to people I would question so it’s Trump’s deal. As far as I am concerned I would rather Tiger have it than others I have seen get it.

Then make Jack Nicklaus give back his medal.

Eh, I play some golf, have dabbled in a couple dozen sports, and don’t think that really applies to any of them. (Even curling!)

She didn’t go Viking. She was just a psycho who smashed him in the face. Again so he cheated on her, she could have taken a half a billion dollars and walked away. But instead she smashed him in the face with a golf club. That’s attempted homicide. She should still be in prison for that.

If a man caught his wife cheating on him, and smashed her in the face with a golf club he would easily get 10 years in State Prison.

Nice thoughts. But, in my last post I was responding to someone who seemed to think Tiger had been attacked physically and financially with minimal provocation.

Atonement and redemption occur subsequent to misbehavior by definition, although they are to be encouraged.
