House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) on Thursday evening backtracked on his position that impeaching President Donald Trump after the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report would not be “worthwhile at this point” after his left-wing primary challenger called him a coward and stated that she was “in favor” of impeachment.
Hoyer told CNN earlier in the day that “the American people will make a better judgment” about whether to remove Trump than Congress in the 2020 election.
“Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point. Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgment,” Hoyer said.
In what may be a sign of things to come with other Democrats, after left-wing activists immediately started to call for Hoyer to be primaried, Hoyer then said that “all options ought to remain on the table.”

I predicted months ago that The Democrat Party would become a ‘minority ONLY’ party very quickly. It looks like it’s going to be happening even quicker than I thought possible.
The Old Guard has lost complete control of the party. They cannot even prevent their own being primaried. The radicals will assume full control on the next election then they will start flexing their muscles on party ideology.
That’s when the fun really begins. The whites will flee the party. The Jews will flee the party. The religious Latinos will flee the party. All that will be left will be a purely ideological ant-Semitic, anti-white, anti-religious communist core..................

The Democrats have a problem. Primary voters are the most Left and radical. This tends to produce candidates who are very far left of the mainstream. While this may work fine in districts that could elect a glass of water with a D on it, this tendency means candidates in contested districts tend to lose. AOC’s backers, the Justice Democrats, ran 79 candidates and got only seven elected. (Probably all in those glass-of-water districts.)
This leftward tendency is probably good for Republicans if they can sideline the really bad, tone deaf candidates who go to football games at critical moments in the campaign.
No, you cowards, go ahead and proceed with impeachment. Please....

What a wuss
Any impeachment of President Trump could be interpreted as a general call for an uprising against the the Rats, Communists and other domestic enemies. The Rats should consider carefully what they say and do.
Hoyer is 79, should have retired years ago.
