Make America Great Again is a patriotic slogan that President Trump uses. It’s no different than phrases like “America the Beautiful” or “Let Freedom Ring.” But because it has become associated with Trump and Republicans, the left has developed an irrational hatred of it.

I don’t know any conservative who calls himself a “white nationalist”. I’m no fan of any label that refers to skin color, for myself or anyone else. Meanwhile it’s no surprise that the left would popularize a term like “white nationalist” since they’re the ones obsessed with race. I also find it suspicious that the term sort of came out of nowhere. Its arrival seems too conveniently timed to mischaracterize Trump supporters. It reminds me of a decade or so ago (probably around the time Bush 43 was elected now that I think about it) when all the sudden leftists were in a tizzy over “dominionists”.
