Former Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) on Tuesday said he believes it would be good if President Trump competed against a strong primary challenger for the 2020 Republican nomination.
“Philosophically, you could look at it and say that it would be a good thing for our country should that occur,” he said Tuesday during the Time 100 Summit, according to the magazine.

Corker is not exactly an objective GOPer to suggest that someone should run against Trump. He is one of the RINOs that Trump drove out of the party.
I think what will happen in the long run, is that the establishment GOP will eventually fade out completely, replaced by Trump Republicans or a new party in the image of Trump.
Trump has not only caused turmoil and chaos in the democRAT party but he has shaken up the Republican party to expose and get rid of the RINOs.
Trump is considered the head of the Republican party now and he should tell these anti-Trump upstarts like Corker and Flake and Romney to get on board or get out.
