With 20 candidates, they aren't going to pick a favorite this early. It's not like 2008 or 2016 when the field was much smaller.

It was silly to think that Kamala was "The One." She did have West Coast support, but just being Black and female alone weren't going to give her the nomination.

Similar with Buttigieg. Nobody's going to bet the farm on somebody who could fall on his face tomorrow.
